Gera comes to us with extensive experience both professionally and academically.  She has over 15 years of experience teaching in a classroom setting, as well as experience instructing and coaching individuals for stage performance.  She has served as Music Director, Organist/Pianist for many churches over the years, most recently with Centenary United Methodist Church in Mt. Ulla, NC.

Gera holds a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education from East Carolina University, and a Master’s degree in Piano Performance from the University of Mississippi.  She studied piano with Edward Kilenyi at Florida State University.  She studied organ with Jain Cane of Davidson, NC and Charles Crutchfield of Wilkesboro, NC.
