A Congregation of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.)

Serving Christ in the Greater New Bern Area

in Eastern North Carolina

West New Bern Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) exists to invite people to enter a relationship with Jesus

Christ, grow in their faith, and go out in the world to share that faith.

(Mission statement adopted in 1998)

West New Bern Presbyterian Church is an active congregation of some 150+ worshippers. We seek to serve God with energy and enthusiasm as we grow together in Christ.  We strive to be an open, inclusive church that welcomes all people to worship and work with us.  There are a variety of opportunities to grow – two worship services, bible studies, church school, an active youth program, circles, church outings and six sessional committees.

As Christ’s disciples we are charged to “go out” into the world – our local mission efforts include Habitat for Humanity, Religious Community Services, Craven Women’s Shelter, Meals on Wheels, CROP Walk, Merci Clinic, Interfaith Refugee Ministry, and youth missions to Jamaica.
